Salt and Pepper Shaker Collecting

                  Salt and pepper shaker collecting has become very popular with the baby boom generation. At the Musbach Museum there is 1728 different sets of salt and pepper shaker. However they are not all out on display. A lot of the salt and pepper shakers you will see meant a lot to someone and has a very important part in history. When the stock market crashed in 1929 a lot of people kept things that didn’t make a whole lot of sense at the time. Salt and pepper shakers are all over so they held on to a little bit of what they knew as the world around them changed. Today’s generation benefits from this because we get to see the magnificent things that were kept. For example, among these salt and pepper shakers at the museum is a set that contains the letter “S” and “P”. You will have to come see for yourself just how many amazing different sets of salt and pepper shakers there are.
